The selection of general special-shaped reducer includes the steps of putting forward the original premise, selecting and determining the specifications. In contrast, the selection is simple, the correct condition to provide the premise of the reducer, to master the design, manufacture and use characteristics of the reducer, is the hub of accurate and fair selection of general reducer specifications. The selection of specifications should meet the premise of strength, thermal balance, radial load of axial extension parts, etc.

In order to ensure the normal operation of the motor reducer, in addition to the normal use in accordance with the operating procedures, pay attention to the normal monitoring and maintenance during operation, it should also be checked regularly to maintain the motor reducer. In this way, some faults can be eliminated in time to prevent the occurrence of faults and ensure the safe and reliable operation of the motor reducer. The interval of regular maintenance can be determined according to the form of the motor reducer considering the use environment. The contents of regular maintenance are as follows:

1. Clean the motor reducer. Remove the dust and sludge outside the motor reducer frame in time. If there is more dust in the use environment, clean it once a day.

2. Check and clean the terminals of the motor reducer. Check whether the connecting screws of the junction box are loose or burned.

3. Check the screws of all fixed parts, including anchor screws, end cover screws, bearing cover screws, etc. Tighten the loose nut.

4. Check the transmission device, pulley or coupling for cracks and damage, and whether the installation is firm; whether the belt buckle is intact.

5. The starting equipment of the motor reducer should also clean up the external dust and dirt in time, wipe the contacts, check whether there are burn marks in each wiring part, and whether the grounding wire is intact.

6. Inspection and maintenance of the bearing. After the bearing has been used for a period of time, it should be cleaned and replaced with grease or lubricating oil. The time of cleaning and oil change should depend on the working conditions, working environment, cleanliness and lubricant type of the motor reducer. Generally, it is cleaned every 3-6 months and replaced with grease.
