Reducer due to lubricating oil causes of failure

1 improper selection of lubricating oil reducer parts of different parts of the lubricating oil varieties, viscosity and other performance requirements are different. The choice of matching can reduce the frictional resistance between the internal contact surfaces of the lubricating oil, and the wear of the gear surface and the noise and vibration of the transmission will also be reduced. Improper selection of lubrication effect will be greatly weakened, the dynamic pressure oil film is easy to rupture, gears and other surfaces contact each other, the pressure is concentrated, serious damage to the gear surface, and even damage the equipment. 2 improper amount of lubricating oil reducer in the process of high-speed operation, the oil pool is vigorously stirred, lubricating oil inside the reducer burst everywhere. If the amount of lubricating oil is too much, a large amount of lubricating oil will accumulate in the shaft seal, end cover, joint surface, etc., resulting in oil leakage, which will increase the running resistance of rotating parts such as bearings and gears, increase the power consumption, and reduce the heat dissipation space. The oil temperature and viscosity drop make the oil film thinner, which destroys the normal lubrication state of the friction surface and causes serious equipment wear. If the amount of lubricating oil is too small, the gear, bearing and joint surface of the reducer can not get enough lubricating oil, can not form an oil film, dry friction, also make the equipment wear seriously. 3 When air, mechanical impurities and free water in the lubricating oil invade the reducer, the lubricating oil in the machine is easily affected by mechanical impurities, water, air and other pollutants. For example, free water can make the lubricating oil produce acidic substances, corrode metal parts and aggravate wear. Oil mixed with air can make the oil oxidation deterioration, and even make the metal parts oxidation corrosion, impurities to reduce the cleanliness of the lubricating oil, oil deterioration, viscosity grade decreased, resulting in speed control system jam, failure, and even equipment damage.
How to choose the right gear reducer?

In the reducer series, the gear reducer is widely used in servo, stepper, DC and other transmission systems because of its small size, high transmission efficiency, wide reduction range and high precision. Their role is to ensure the premise of precision transmission. Down, mainly used to reduce the speed and reduce the load/motor moment of inertia ratio. How to choose a gear reducer? 1. When choosing a gear reducer, please multiply the rated torque of the servo motor you choose by the reduction ratio. The value obtained is in principle less than the rated output torque of a similar reducer provided by the product sample, and also takes into account the drive motor. Actual required overload capacity and maximum working torque. The maximum working torque required is less than 2 times the rated output torque. After meeting the above conditions, please select the smallest reducer. Smaller reducers are relatively low cost. If there is not enough space for the motor reducer to connect in a straight line. You can also choose a corner reducer that can turn the torque 90 degrees. 2. Consider the return clearance of the gear reducer. The smaller the return gap, the higher the accuracy and the higher the cost. Users should choose to meet the accuracy requirements of the reducer. 3. Also consider lateral/radial force and average life. Reducers with large lateral/radial forces are very reliable in installation and use and are not prone to problems. Usually its average life far exceeds the life of the servo motor. After meeting the above indicators, you can choose the gearbox suitable for your motor on the installation size, shaft diameter and input flange according to the product catalog provided by the company. Finally, you must also consider the weight of the motor. One type of reducer is only allowed to match motors of less than a certain weight. The motor is too heavy. Long-term operation will damage the input flange of the reducer.
